Holsworthy Motor Club was founded in 1966 by a group of people wishing to run rallies and autocross events but whose main interest was to organise and compete in trials. Most of the club’s members are drawn from around the North Cornwall, West Devon, Torridge and North Devon districts. It exists to promote inexpensive motor sport activities at grass roots level. The club organises competitions ranging from single venue field trials to long distance National level classic reliability trials. Our motor cycle only trials and car Autotests cater for all levels of ability so that we often find sons, daughters mums and dads competing against each other. There are some purely social events and each year we try to raise money for a local charity. We welcome people of both sexes and all ages wishing to compete in cars or on bikes to join us but we also feel that there may be other people who would be interested in helping with organising or marshalling occasionally. We help other clubs by providing marshals for rallies and major trials such as the MCCs Lands End and Exeter trials each year.
